This Precolombian soundwalk is a prototype that combines a geolocated soundscape with a paper map. An original idea by Fred Adam and Verónica Perales from ubik2.com and a collaboration for the spatialization in the public space of the contents of Madrid’s Museum of America. The development is based on NoTours with some interesting new additions such as a compass indicating the route to the starting point of the soundwalk.

The soundwalk suggest you to follow the sounds of different musical instruments that have resonated throughout the Andean Region for over two thousand years, instruments that create a unique soundscape. We invite you to this deep listening experience, to this immersive acoustic walk through the gardens surrounding the museum! Follow the map, all sounds nodes are indicated there; indulge yourself with the ritual notes and enjoy.
